How do I add an account?
Tap the + button and scan the service's QR code, choose a QR image from your photos, or enter the secret key manually. You can also import everything from Google Authenticator, 2FAS, or Aegis.
How do I move to a new phone?
With Vaulty Pro and iCloud sync enabled, your accounts appear automatically on a new device signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud Keychain on. Without Pro, create an encrypted manual backup (or export a migration QR) and import it on the new device.
I forgot my backup or hidden-vault password.
These cannot be recovered — not by you without the password, and not by us. They are never stored anywhere in a recoverable form. This is intentional: it's what keeps your data safe if a backup is stolen. Keep these passwords somewhere safe.
My codes are being rejected.
This is almost always a clock issue on the service's side or yours. Vaulty compensates for device clock drift automatically; check Settings → Time in the app. Also confirm you selected the correct account, and that the service accepts 6- or 8-digit codes as configured.
How do I cancel Vaulty Pro?
Open Settings on your device → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Vaulty → Cancel. You keep Pro features until the end of the period you already paid for. See our Subscription Terms.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Does Vaulty work offline?
Yes. Codes are generated entirely on-device and do not require a network connection. Only iCloud sync and automatic backups (Pro) use the network, through Apple's services.
Can I export my accounts?
Yes, anytime. Export a single account as an otpauth QR, or the whole vault as a Google Authenticator migration QR. We never lock your data in.
